Every important social issue is impacted by low literacy

When individuals improve their reading and writing skills, they have the power to lift themselves out of poverty, find and keep employment, and ultimately change their lives. 

We believe God has called us to work with him to change the lives of those around us, and we believe that one way to do that is by helping people to improve their reading skills.

We have found our translation of the Bible to be a powerful tool in helping people to improve their reading skills, while at the same time, teaching about God’s love.  Reading Workshops are a key element of our strategy to share the gospel with unreached communities and to promote the use of our translation among semi-literate people.
